Neither Grownup eels or eggs have at any time been documented while in the Sargasso Sea for the duration of spawning, nevertheless recently hatched eels are identified there. Presumably, spawning happens in deep h2o, plus the Older people die shortly just after, leaving no trace but their offspring.
